[At 8am, Sokka's probably going to be woken up by a determined pounding at his door.

And, no, ignoring it won't make it stop.]

[ There's a muffled grumble and it takes a couple of minutes before Sokka appears, wrapped in his blanket. He leans against the doorframe with a tired yawn. ]

Korra, what's going on?

[Normally, Korra would be right with Sokka on the ugh morning feelings, but she, strangely enough, looks wide awake for once.]

Asami and Bolin are gone.

[She stares at him, like he's supposed to solve this problem.]

[ There's a long, slow blink as what Korra says sinks in. Then his face falls. There's a strange sense of loss mingled with relief. At least they're out of this place, right? ]

[Korra crosses her arms, disappointed that he's not offering anything else. Then again...it's not like Sokka can bring them back or anything.]

Guess it's just you and me left. What now?

[ Sokka tilts his head back to stare up at the bulkhead for a moment. ]

I think they were right. We can't sit here and let the Initiative lead us around by the nose when they've done nothing but screw up. I've been bombed, sicker than I've ever been in my life, shot at, chased by zombies, watched a city get entirely wiped out from the freaking moon.

This place sucks and I want to go home and I'm tired of being randomly shoved onto the transporter by the Initiative to collect rocks and stuff for no reason. It's not my fight!!!

They're the ones who hauled ME here, it's not on me or anyone else who's been kidnapped to act like good little Transports and be understanding and whatever to the stupid Initiative. I was good. I did what they asked. I've been here since May, like you said!

Now I'm done with it. I've almost died like four or five times by now and no more of this stuff. We have the Avatar and we have bending and maybe we'd be fine on our own or maybe not, it doesn't matter. I have my own life and my own family and I'm sorry that your world sucks but MINE DOESN'T. I don't get how you can just defend them after they've screwed up everything they've done! They're obviously not any better equipped to fight the UE than we are. [ Sokka looks up at Korra from his spot on his bunk. There's an awkward, uncomfortable tension there that wasn't earlier. ]

Yeah, it was true. But...I dunno why she would tell you. It was kind of something I kept between me and people I was close to. It...it was really personal, you know?

[She drops to the ground into a cross-legged position, finally looking at Sokka.]

I guess...I thought she'd tell me because of who, what I am. But it's different than what I expected...we're just people, too. I dunno if I'd tell people everything that happened to me and my friends, either.

[ Sokka rolls over to look more directly at Korra. ]

I mean, we did a lot of important stuff. But we're just kids, sometimes. I mean, no one is going to tell you about licking frogs or drinking cactus juice or all the time we spent traveling or just doing nothing. I mean who wants to hear about crossing the Great Divide? It's boring and pointless.

And besides that, Yue was really special to me.
